Prelim-Round
Holdin' It Down Live From The Living Room @ Loyola Marymount University, Honor Flow Productions competes against "The Lair's" best in the 2009 Fall Semester edition of Battle Of The Bands!!! (Prelim Round)
Between the line up "conflict," the in-house technical difficulties, and our set being cut short, I think we made our point, because YOU voted us into the next round... "Respect" (c) Ali G. Shouts out to the homegirl Amanda for taking the camera and filming the set. ENJOY!!!
Setlist:
1) Run This Lair (feat. Linze Peters)
2) S.S.C (System Sound Check)
3) Center Stage
Semi-Finals
The Second Straight Week of Competition for The Mighty, Mighty Honor Flow Productions in Loyola Marymount University's Fall Semester edition of Battle Of The Bands Live From The Living Room.
With A little "electricity ," some mackin' by the "minute," some "realism," and of course YOUR VOTES, we we're not only able to move on to the final round, but also BECAUSE OF YOU, we we're the leading vote getter for round!!! Filming by way of my baby sister Tyler. Thanks Knucklehead ;). ENJOY!!!!
Setlist:
1) Electrify
2) Get A Minute
3) Real (Give Me) (This was the first time we performed this track live).
Unfortunately, because I didn't double check my footage before clicking delete, I lost my footage from the final round (I know, stupid me). But I know Kerwin has some footage. I going to be back @ this post later and update it with footage from the final round.
As a bonus, here was the article from The Loyolan on our 1st place victory in B.O.T.B. Like I said when I posted this on Facebook: The headline= Epic Win
Calling Key, Lord, and myself sophomores= EPIC fail, lol!!!!

Honor Flow Productions Radio Live @ Rhymesayers' Fresh Air Tour (El Rey Theater) (10.20.09)
On Tuesday (October 20, 2009) I had the chance and absolute pleasure to chill backstage at Rhymesayers' Fresh Air Tour With Brother Ali, Evidence, BK-One, and Toki Wright. My interviews with "The Freshest Kids" will air on tonight's episode of Honor Flow Productions Radio (10.22.09) on KLMU Online Radio (KLMU Online Radio Link: http://www.live365.com/stations/kxlu3?site=pro).
On that note, here is some of the highlights from night including some crazy surprises. To quote Toki, "Say it with me now.... 'I was there.'" This was mos defiantly on the most entertaining and live Hip-Hop shows I have ever been too. If The Fresh Air Tour rolls into your town... don't walk.... RUN to this show!!! Here is the link to the tour dates: http://www.rhymesayers.com/tours/fresh_air_tour
Special Thanks to Jessica @ Spectre Entertainment for hooking up this opportunity, Rhymesayers Entertainment, and the whole crew on The Fresh Air Tour for showing me love. It was dope experience. "I salute you."

S.S.C (System Sound Check)/Real (Give Me) (12' Single)
Download HERE!!!!
It's been nearly four years in the making, but finally Key and I are proud to present the first singles of V.I.S.I.O.N.S!!! It is also pretty dope that it so happened that timing wise, we were able to finally drop these on a date that has another monuments meaning: "The Poet" finally turns 21 today. Happy Birthday Key!!!
Like always, I would give ya'll the story behind these songs, but you'll just have to wait until the actual album is released to read the full liner notes. But I will come back later and update this post with liner notes for the bonus tracks. Some of you may recognized the bonuses, some of you may not. Either way, we thought it would be a good idea to include some records that have become staples at our live shows; especially for those who maybe just joining us ;).
Shouts out to homie Derek Heath, who is the art director and designer for the album, who put together these covers in less than 24 hours. Anyways, ENJOY!!!

Digital Undaground Vol. 4 & 5
"Everyday somebody ask me where all the real MC's is at? They underground. There's mad talented cats underground with that raws$%!!"- Talib Kweli
For those of you who don't know, I established a mixtape series nearly a year and half ago with the host of "The I Still Love H.E.R. Show" (and fellow Hip-Hop head) Wanja Lange, with the sole purpose to reestablished what "the mixtape" is really for... BREAKING NEW ARTISTS!!! (Not to mention to bring back mixing to the mixtape in that half these "mixtape tape DJs" don't even know how to mix but that's a different conversation).Showcasing the incredible and eclectic styles of artists worldwide, Digital Undaground is now celebrating the release of not one, BUT TWO tapes to bang and vibe in your eardrums for the summertime. In relation to the quote above from Kweli, I also hear this question all the time. Well, please believe the MC (and The DJ) are well alive, it's just now the movement has gone digital. And myself and Wanja are proud to present a piece of that movement right in your hands.
Featuring a line-up of artists on the come up worldwide and underground staples such as Rapper Big Pooh, Chino XL, Dutchmassive, Roc C, Supastition, Baatin, OneBeLo, Elzhi, Buff1, Skyzoo, The Away Team and many more!!!
