S.S.C. (System Sound Check) Music Video

I have confession. You know the guy that pulls up beside you in traffic with his windows down, music damn near at full tilt, and his rearview mirrors shaking? Well that's me, lol! Music is a release for me, as well as the rest of this band. It's our "battle cry" as I say during my verse. My observation of my rearview window making this beautiful mess of a shake when the bass is up (and treble is balanced, a perfect mix) is what inspired the the initial concept of this record four years ago, and has become not only one of my favorite records to record, but more so to perform. It's raw energy, it's crowd participation, it's loud, it's in your face, it's annoying to some, it's rebellious... it's Hip-Hop... in its purest form; which is the feel the mad scientists @ OISHIMEDIA wanted to bring visually to this music video.

Special extra thanks to all the folks how came out and was part of the fun with us during the shoot. Ya'll brought the energy and kept it live on that blazing hot Saturday afternoon.

And now... it is time to "Test The System Out."

Cadillac Dreams Music Video (Directed By Oishi Media)

In these 3 short years, we as a band has celebrated various accomplishments and broke new personal ground in our journey: the various prestigious venues and events we have had the honor and privilege performing at, the release of V.I.S.I.O.N.S. after being in development for five years, the consistent creative new methods of bringing you into our world as a band such as our “Respect The DJ” Projects (Example- The Demonstration) and finally gave you some gear (T-Shirts, etc) to rep us in the streets. This right here, what you are about to watch, is another groundbreaking moments for us.

When you hear a song, it is always automatic that you mentally gather some images of what was the inspiration behind its creation. Music and visual arts go hand and hand like “Peanut Butter and Jelly on Wheat” (Word To Q-Tip. See “The Love Movement,” Track 14 for the reference point), and it has been a long term goal for us to not only have you hear our V.I.S.I.O.N.S, but to actually see them; live and in living color like a Wayans Brother. Today, we are extremely proud and ecstatic to share with you all, our first attempt at doing so.

I would like to thank the incredible mad scientist at Oishi Media for bringing this record to life to your computer/TV screens, I want send at shout out to my best friend of 19 years, Anthony for providing the Cadillac of our dreams, and on behave of the eight of us, we want to thank YOU for your love and support. I always say this is a nine person operation, the ninth being YOU. We would have not made it this far and continue to grow and progress without your consistent word of mouth endorsements to your peoples about what we do and what we are all about.

On a personal note, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my 24th birthday weekend then to shoot this video with my best friends and band of brothers. Soul Claps & Salutes.

“And now… for our feature presentation” ENJOY!!!

Happy New Years Eve to you and yours! I was going to wait until tomorrow to drop this, but when I'm geeked about something and it's done, it's nearly impossible for me to wait a second longer to share it with you all, lol! Besides, what better way to close the book on a historic year for H.F.P. then to show you what it is next. And "2 LA" @ The Troubadour on January 15th is it!

Show Details: http://hfpuniversity.blogspot.com/2011/12/honor-flow-productions-presents-2-la.html

We hope you all enjoy this little ride through our city and see you all in the new year at 2 LA!!! Be safe, enjoy your evening, and thank you all again for an unforgettable 20-11. *Soul Claps & Salutes*

Trey Billie "4 Tha City (I'm So L.A.) Music Video

The homie Trey Billie just dropped the video for his joint "4 Tha City" yesterday. When this was filmed over the summer, Billie and J-Hyphen invited me to come down to the set to make cameo appearance; so I decided to come down and do "rapper things" as the director M.R Money called it. I can't keep a straight face and act smooth to save my life in this video, you see me laughing in the shots, lol!!! Anyways, speaking of Billie, I am proud to announce that him and his band, Da Physics Of The Ghetto are one of the four acts along with us that will be a part of F.R.E.S.H State Of Mind. What is F.R.E.S.H State Of Mind you ask? DETAILS AND THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT COMING LATER ON THIS WEEK!!!!
