Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture: Beyond Boxes

"Beyond Boxes" is a documentary that analyzes the rising population of multicultural families in the United States. The film actively challenges its audience to think "beyond" the race boxes we have all seen on formal paperwork such as surveys and job applications, and erase the social stigmas and prejudices that are attached to them.

It's a topic to me that has not been given proper attention in conversations regarding the ever evolving "face" of America. That is why I jumped at the chance to work on the film's score; which is my first entree into another side of composting I hope to dive into further in the near future.
